Hi,

Yes, I was doing the right thing. I tracked my problem down to my
connection, which was generated of the form:

'Contacts[first:S, last:S, phone:S, email:S, notes:S]' 

instead of: 

'Contacts[first:S,last:S,phone:S,email:S,notes:S]'

I didn't realize that the space between each column name mattered. 

Works great now.
