Hi,

no, no even "[db view myview] as v"  does not clear the view if $v goes out
of scope as I saw.

as mentioned before you have to manually `rename $v ""'. That's the bug I
observed and indeed after closing the database [llength [info commands
::view*]] returns two more views.
