[Starkit] Interesting thread on starpacks and windows and tk

covers a topic I don't remember reading on any of the wiki pages or papers
that were presented.  A couple issues appear to be going on.

One is a problem creating files inside a writable starpack when running on
Windows.

The other is something Jeff points out - that using native GUI widgets
(for Windows and MacOS for instance) results in problems if one wants
to deal with files inside the starpack.

Did I miss this info somewhere in the online docs for starkits?
