[Starkit] Tclkit 8.4.11

Maybe it would have helped if I'd said what I was trying to fix...

When I run the genkit, metakit fails.  Here's the error I get:

Interestingly enough, the above is still happening, even after I added
that code in the last msg.  So my attempt to pass the flags down seems
to be failing...
