on suse72: 2.4.4-64GB-SMP linux x86

* 8.4.11 dyn works
* 8.4.12 dyn ./tclkit-linux-x86: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6:
* 8.4.12 static works (X11 display redirection is different, but ...)
* 8.4.13 static tells kernel too old

building

* tclsh genkit A
* tclsh genkit B

   fails:

RUN: sh ../../../src/vfs/configure --prefix=/usr/src/tclkit/noarch
--exec-prefix=/usr/src/tclkit/install/server
--with-tcl=/usr/src/tclkit/build/server/tcl --disable-shared

checking for correct TEA configuration... ok (TEA 3.5)
checking for Tcl configuration... configure: error:
/usr/src/tclkit/build/server/tcl directory doesn't contain tclConfig.sh

itcldyn kitsh mk tkdyn vfs zlib

tcl is missing ? dont know why yet

is this of any help anyway ?
