the text widget has it's background set to white, but does not set the foreground color. So it is possible to get white on white or other bad color combinations depending on the user's default foreground color. A quick "-fg black" is all that is needed in wikit/gui.tcl and I have included a patch below. This problem was found in the available downloaded version on 2003 Feb 19. Sorry I do not know how to determine the actual version number of wikit. "wikit -help" produces a very nasty looking error which would better be described in another bug report. -- Bryan Schofield -- #diff gui.tcl.orig gui.tcl 306c306 < label $top.n.mode -width 7 -anchor e -bg white -font wikit_default --- > label $top.n.mode -width 7 -anchor e -fg black -bg white -font wikit_default 324c324 < -bg white -relief flat -exportselection 1 --- > -bg white -fg black -relief flat -exportselection 1 |

Thanks, I've made the changes - but your code does not seem to match the latest wikit.kit - to update your copy, get a very recent sdx and do: sdx update wikit.kit For information about versioning, see: /265 |
