Using latest tclkit and sdx, I attempt to update tkchat.kit . sdx
reports success - however, resulting disk file is not updated!
I have unwrapped sdx, added some puts, and it appears that starsync is
retrieving the new file, and is adding it to the in memory vfs - that
update does not appear to be appearing back onto disk.

this sounds like the last-minute vfs -nocommit bug, i.e. changes not getting
written back - it may be that the Solaris version has not yet been rebuilt with
the latest sources and VFS runtime

this has been traced to a starkit which does not yet use the latest header
