Wikit doesn't appear to remember, or keep through a restart, a reference to
another, newly created page.
Steps used to reproduce this behavior:
Download the latest (2004/06/08) wikit.kit file from /wikit.html,
and a suitable Tclkit executable for either platform.
Run wikit.kit in local mode, which creates a new database.
Edit the start page. Create a new reference. Call it "[bob]". Any name will do,
with or without spaces. Save the change.
Click on the blue bracket beside "bob", which sends you to a blank page named
"bob".
Edit this page, adding any content desired. For testing, I used "[My Wiki]" as
the content for "bob". Save the contents.
If you click 'back', or 'home', you'll return to the start page. But the link
to bob is not highlighted properly. Clicking on the bracket creates yet another
blank "bob" page. In addition, if I add specific content to the "bob" page, a
search will turn the page up, yet it only allows me to click the highlighted
brackets, creating a new page, instead of giving me the page I searched for.
This also occurs in httpd mode, with any combination of server os, client os,
and client browser versions.
Either I've completely missed the document explaining how to create references and
new material in Wikit, or there's a serious bug. Feel free to flame me out of
existence at [email protected] for missing a document or post referencing how
to properly do things, if I've wasted y'all's time. |

I've checked the TCLer's Wiki, and someone else seems to have the same problem.
(http://mini.net/tcl/47) I've followed the instructions on how to make a new page,
and it just doesn't work for me, for some odd reason.
